At His feet glows the warm red lamp of devotion . . . perpetually . . . noon and night . . . the symbol of that devotion common to all La Salle . . . the youngest freshman knows of it and has already begun to cherish it . . . the oldest alumnus, long since departed from the campus, has made it a part of his life.
