Miss L. lrene Page, Dean of all high-school girls, holds a conference with a student who knows that she will receive helpful, under- standing advice from the Dean. Miss Page has been the Dean ot Girls since she came to L-P eight years ago. She is also a Student Council Co-Adviser, the sponsor ot the Cavalettes, and the head of the Health Education department. to students counseling and guidance Mr. Harry L. Wilmot is the Dean of the La Salle-Peru-Oglesby Junior College, the Registrar of L-P High School, and the Director of the Guidance and Placement Tests which are given to both high school and iunior college students. Mr. Wilmot has been associated with the preliminary classification of entering freshmen tor the past 35 years. Mr. Walt Tyler has been serving as the Dean ot Boys since 1948. He supervises and disciplines in a quiet and tirm manner, and he spends many long hours conferring with students who seek his advice, ln addition, Mr. Tyler teaches United States History, serves as a Student Council Co-Adviser, and has held the position ot Athletic Director since September of this year. -.! se' Page twenty-four

1 Behind scenes directors devote time to special services. ll The adult evening school and the apprentice training classes are under the supervision ot Mr. Norman Peterson, vvho has been L-P's Vocational Director since 1945. Mr, Peterson is the head ot the Industrial Arts department in the high school. He orders, catalogues, and distributes all the textbooks for the high school. Under the supervision ot Mr. Thomas Flannery, a veteran of A4 years, the maintenance staff is sub-divided into charwomen, day ianitors, night ianitors, and boilermen, Mr. Flannery and the maintenance stat? are in charge ot the heating, lighting, and general cleanliness of L-P. lA Page twenty-five L
