Third Division Third Division is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship's armament. Ap- proximately forty percent of 'Third Division is made up of Fire Control Technicians who operate and maintain the ship's guns and small arms. While on the Med cruise, LaSalle was involved in more than 20 gunshoots. On the return crossing Mount 33 under Mount Captain GMG3 Camp' Won the Captain's Trophy for accuracy.
