Ever willing to flash his pleasant smile and lend a hand. his spirit was truly La Salleis. Dody had all the oualities of a good student and good athlete. he-sides taking part in all his classis activities. He is aspiring to be a C. P. A., we are sure Dody will give a splendid account of him- self, Librarian: Basketball-'-fl: Junior Varsity-- - 2. 3: Focthall--fl, 3, 4: Class Baseball-l. 2. 3. 4: Dramatics- -4: Scholastic l. fl. CHARLES JOSEPH DRENNEN Charles is in every way a model student. be- ing a fine scholar. and a perfect gentleman, Charlie took to studies as a duck to water. Not a month passed by that this sterling youth failed to receive at least one welleearned hvnor card. Although Charlie is not on anv of the varsity teams. he gave his whole-hearted support to all of the La Salle teams. If Rose Bowln continues hereafter as well as he did during these four years at La Salle. we can assure you that he will win gre1t praise and distinction in any walk of life he may choose. This is certainly true of Ed. One of the best all-around athletes La Salle has ever known. he has tried his hand at nearly every sport the school possesses, He was apparently never without a letter, receiving a new one be- fore his last one could be even termed old. For three years he toted the pigskin as a back on the varsity football team. crowning his efforts in his Senior year by being chosen All'Catholic half-back. He also played jayvee basketball and ran on the track team, His versatility is sur- passed only by his ability to be a grand sport and a fellow thatis been a treat to know.
