Farewell La Salle . . . UNE has again rolled around and has heralded the time for another class of Brothers' boys to bid farewell to their Alma Mater. We, the Class of '48, do this with reluctance. Our high school days are now over, and our next step, life, is the hardest of all to take. Many roads are open to us in this fabulous land of ours, but the choosing of the right one is our own decision, and not an easy one. We can do this with stout hearts though, for the training we have received in the past few years has opened our minds to the facts of life. The ideas inculcated into our minds by the Brothers will always have a specihc bearing on our lives. If we combine these with our Christian ideals and ways of life, success is the only alternative. We shall miss the silent corridors, the jovial attitude always predominant in the cafeteria, the jaunts on our spacious campus, the visits to our grotto, the efforts unnumbered spent by our teachers on us, the dictatorial tone of Brother Flavian's whistle, these and all the things which mean La Salle we shall miss.
