V. football squad. He advanced to the varsity reserve. a prospect for the next season. In ,Xpril of '44 his edueation was interrupted when he left La Salle to serve with the United States Navy. He returned to the Academy to complete his studies. and will then follow the Engineering Course at llrown University. Itill is a living example of a typical La Salle student. jovial, good-nalured and an ardent sports follower, He was a participant on the indoor track team in 1944 and a sincere pro- moter of all social activities in his junior and senior years. I. llerald came lo La Salle from St. NIichael's ,Iunior High School. Providence. He entered in Septemher of HH- as a sophomore. While a sophomore he played on the I. N. Foothall team and the ,l. V. llaskethall team with great success. In class Gerald is an ardent student and gets hehind all of the class functions and aetivities. He is well liked hy everyone.
