Elmer and Suzic have their choice of 33 clubs and several or- ganizations to join for extra-cur- ricular activities. Some clubs arc serious and some just for fun, but whatever their purpose or their activities, they arc a vital part of life at LaPortc High School. Our school’s music department offers a special type of activity for those with musical ability. Even during the night, strains of music can be heard drifting from the second floor of the annex. Freshman and Sophomore Chorus The Freshmen and Sophomore chorus joined with the A Cappella choir, the Band, the Orchestra, and all other musical organizations in the selling of tags for the Music Booster Drive in the fall. Both choruses combined with the A Cappella in the singing of carols for the various associations of LaPortc. In the fall they sang in the annual choral concert under the direction of Mr. David E.
