:.Y ? Last year the faculty honored Mr. French at a tea celebrating his twenty-fifth year principal of LaPorte High School. In grateful recognition of his many years of steadfast, intelligent guidance and scrivcc to L.P.H.S. and to the community, we, the Senior Class of 195 5, respectfully dedi- cate the 195 5 El-Pc to Mr. John M. French, our principal. His sincerity, understanding, and constant interest in all school activities will be long remembered. Swing Choir, organized this year by director David E. Simpson, made its first ap- pearance before a Northern Indiana Principal’s Association meeting in LaPorte. This group, all members of the A Cappella Choir, specializes in music of a lighter variety. Among their many activities were appearances at banquets, parties and assemblies.
