An individual’s high school days arc said to be some of the best days of his life, and that is truly so. All the minute details that enter into a student’s high school career may be unimportant and trivial, but they are always to be stored away in a special place in the back of his mind. Our contacts with other people in school arc most important because we constantly meet people, assoc- iate with them at social affairs, work with them, compete against them, and match wits with them. With that fact in mind, this year’s annual has been prepared as stimuli to preserve precious memories of the good old days with the people we have come to cherish most. The pictures on these few pages, reminiscent of La Porte in the spring, summer, autumn, and winter, will remind us of our four years—the years in which the world revolved around us. If you’re looking for your picture, you’ll find it somewhere between pages five and thirty-eight. You might also find your picture in the activity section which extends from page thirty-nine to page sixty. Two activities which definitely should have a special section arc sports and music; music is pictured on pages sixty-one to sixty-six, while sports arc found on pages sixty-seven to eightv-two. Finally, we are presenting a section devoted to the leaders and planners, the administration and faculty, which is pictured on pages eighty-three to eighty-eight. The Senior class of 1952 takes great pride and pleasure in presenting our final contribution, the 1952 El-Pe, to La Porte High School. Page three
