Hans, when at home, goes to Stacdtischcs Johanneum, a school for boys, in I.uxcnburg, Germany. This year Hans has taken civics, history, English, safety, trigonometry, economics, and sociology. Hans intends to study law and eventually become a judge or lawyer. MARIA GOLD In March of J2” Maria, while attending school in Harl- srupe. Southern Germany, read in the paper that boys and girls from the ages of sixteen to seventeen could come to the United States for one year. After having submitted her life history and her picture she had to take two tests. She passed the tests and was able to start for the United States on the 16th of July. This year in school, Maria took English, U. S. history, home economics, and sociology. After finishing her education she plans to be a home economics teacher. INGRID VON DER WARTH Ingrid was able to spend a year with us through an or- ganization called the A. F. S. I. S. When at home, Ingrid goes to Gertrud Stauffochcr Schule in Berlin.
