me If Interest in music by means of performance has been the goal of the music department this yearg interest not only of students but of the community. Three of the principal undertakings were the Old Time Minstrels, An Old- fashioned Christmas and Spring Varieties. The use of specially designed scenery, newly constructed flood lights plus splendid cooperation from the students has made this a fery successful year for the music department.

Pep Club The LaPaz Pep Club was formed last year to give support to the LaPaz Vikings during the county and sectional tourneys. This year the pep club performed at all home games, tourneys, and were taken by the athletic department to the North Liberty game. The blue cushions and blue gloves contrasting against the white shirts or blouses gave interesting background to many hand motions and cheers.
