As we celebrate the Bi-Centennial of our great nation, we should realize that the accomplishments of our Nation as a whole could not have been realized without the educational opportunities that were afforded to its citizens. 1 hope that you, as a citizen of our society, have taken advantage of La Palma Jr. High School ' s many educationa l programs and will continue throughout your life to grow and contribute to the future success of our great Nation. I also hope that you will support our great Nation as it accepts the challenges of many outside forces that are designed to take away our destiny and our faith in a free democratic society.
