HOMECOMING 1967 Monday, October 17th, marked the beginning of LaMoille s annual Homecoming week with four centers designated as hot spots for the preparation of the class floats. Next, the annual Thursday night bonfire and pep rally raised the spirits of the students and players. The fiery cheerleaders, spirited captains, and the fidgety coaches gave enthusiasm to the crowd. Then on Friday, the 21st, at 2:30, we paraded our band, floats, queen candidates, cheerleaders, and participants in the children's divisions for the community to see. All of these proclaimed the downfall of the Wyanet Eagles to the paws of the LaMoille Lions. Dancers enjoy romantic setting. “TRY TO Queen Julie and King Randy The Royal Couple As the night progressed, the game found the paws of the Mighty Lions being stepped on by the Wyanet Eagles with a final score of 13-25. Joe DeZutti provided the annual Homecoming dance with music to support the theme, Try to Remember . At eleven o'clock the Junior candidate, Julie Beatty, was crowned Queen by Captain Randy Stouffer. Captain Dan DeLong then presented Queen Julie with one dozen red roses. This Homecoming proved to be a very exciting event to remember.
