C. H. S. in the fall of '52. We elected our officers: Neil Becker, President; Richard Feik, Vice President; Carol Pinter, Secretary; Joyce Drummer, Treasurer; Adrienne Boulay and Irene File, Reporters; Jack Swanson, Student Council Representative; Mrs. Mowers, Mr. Gross and Mr. LaBounty, Sponsors. Our homecoming queen was Irene File. On September, 19,1953, came the day that all Freshmen dread, initiation. The Sophomores dressed us up and the Seniors made us do many terrible things. The Juniors took pity on us and served us all refreshments. During the year we lost Curtis Floto. We now have 38 members in our class. At the end of the year we gained Ann Dunseth. In the fall of 1953 we started out again. We elected again: Neil Becker, President; Richard Feik, Vice President; Carol Pinter, Secretary; Joyce Drummer, Treasurer; Adrienne Boulay and Irene File, Reporters; Robert Hohertz, Student Council Representative; Miss Bower and Miss Hauge, Sponsors. Annette Stuepfert was our homecoming queen. We lost Gladys Rasmussen, Rita Bickett and Joan Neidetcher during the year. We gained Lyle Younglove, Bernard Hoschied and Nancy Heiserman. In the fall of '54 we returned. This year we elected the following as officers: Richard Feik, President; Neil Becker, Vice President; Carol Pinter, Secretary; Annette Stuepfert, Treasurer; Richard Feik, Student’Council Representative; Irene File, Alan Jontz, Reporters. Our homecoming queen was Carol Savoure. We lost Lyle Younglove, Bernard Hoschied, Carol Pinter, Billy Decker, and Margie Fultz. We now have 35 members in our class. 13

BACK ROW; John DeLong, Kenneth Swa’nlund, Jerry Eich, Don Chaon, Garth Conard, Greg Drummer, Hubert Keutzer. Section, iotoncf In the fall of 1951, we entered L. C. H. S. The following officers were elected by the class: Dale Carter, President; Clifton Carter, Vice President; Marlas Happ, Secretary-Treasurer; Lola Thompson, Reporter; Miss Bower and Mrs Nesti Sponsors. During this year we lost Dale and Clifton Carter, and the offices they held were replaced by Gregory Drummer, President; and Joyce Blackwell. Vice President. Freshmen Initiation will be a day we'll always remember. Our homecoming queen was Janice Schallhorn. During the year we lost Lola Thompson, Lois Bomleny, Paddy Felton, Bertha Hedges, and Clinton Eades. In September 1952, the following officers were elected: John DeLong, President; James Stamberger, Vice President; Janice Schallhorn, Secretary-Treasurer; Carole Anderson and Garth Conard, Reporters; Roger Weller, Student Council Representative; Miss Bower and Mr. Baxter, Sponsors. Our homecoming queen was Carple Anderson. In the autumn of 1953 there were two new Juniors to answer to roll call. We gained Donald Chaon and Carol Bodenhamer. Those to guide our affairs during the busy Junior year were Roger Weller, President; Donald Chaon, Vice President; Rose Losey, Secretary-Treasurer; James Schmidt and Darrel Thompson, Reporters; Kenneth Swanlund and Roger Weller, Student Council Representatives; Mrs. Bender and Mr. Kidd, Sponsors. Joyce Houski was the class queen. We then cam back in the fall of '54. This year everyone answered to the roll call except Carmen Beattie. We chose the following officers: Allen Tuntland, President; Joyce Houski, Vice President; Carol Anderson, Secretary-Treasurer; Donald Watson, Reporter; James Schmidt, Student Council Representative; Mrs. Bender and Mr. Sellers, Sponsors. Our homecoming queen was Marylu Pierson. Joyce Houski was chosen by the class and faculty to receive the D. A. R. Award. On May 9th the Juniors honored us with the Jr.-Sr. Prom On June 8th the Seniors enjoyed a very nice time in Chicago on their Class Trip. The day was spent at a theatre and at a restaurant. We received our diplomas May 26, climaxing a very memorable four years of our lives. 12
