Settiox (?C6i44 ‘P'loft tecty Well, here we are, ten years after graduation. It certainly doesn’t seem that long since we last attended good old LaMoille High. We are meeting here at the Conrad Hilton Hotel in Chicago. Among the first to arrive is Roger Weller. He is now head coach at the University of Illinois, you know. Next we see Janice Schallhorn looking as neat as ever. Of course, you would have to look nice if you were Eddie Fisher's private secretary. Here comes the Senator from Illinois, John DeLong. I’m sure you all know how John likes to argue. With him is Allen Tuntland who runs a hatchery in LaMoille. They are discussing the prices of chickens. Here comes the millionaires of the class, Jim Schmidt and Darrel Thompson, who are now retired. After graduation they boughta cattle ranch in Texas and then struck oil on it. We see another secretary coming through the revolving door. It is none other than Marylu Pierson. She has been working at the Princeton State Bank. Maybe they’ll make you president one of these days, Marylu. Jerry Eich and Hubert Keutzer now operates an automobile factory and with them is Don Chaon, who owns a hot rod garage. Of course, Jerry and Hubert say their cars never have anything wrong with them but Don says no one could ever fix the contraption anyway. Does anyone have a lame animal at home? If so just call on our next classmate, Garth Conard, who is a veterinarian. We now see Carole Anderson making a dramatic entrance. She is a famous actress on Broadway. (What a fur piece). Mr. and Mrs. Watson are now getting out of their limousine. You probably remember them as Don Watson and Marlas Happ. Don is now a star football center for the Chicago Bears. The two farmers of the class Joyce Houski and Jim Stamberger come next. They both own their own farms. You have all heard of Ken's Motels. Well, here is the owner and manager of them, Ken Swanlund. Of course he and Sandy are married. Neal Drummer now enters. He is a filing clerk in the Congressional Library in Washington. We now see Greg Drummer sauntering this way. He is an auto daredevil driver for Jimmy Lynch. 1 believe that is all of the class that is coming. No! Wait a minute! Who is that coming? Kind of late I’d say. Why, it's Rose Losey who is a missionary in Africa. She is also teaching the people what foods to eat. She received the Homemaking Award when we were seniors, you will remember. Well, that's the class of '55. I think they have made quite a future for themselves, don't you? Section (?1 Z64 02Oi£C We, the Senior Class of 1955 of LaMoille Community High School, being of sound feet, sound intellectual and brilliant minds, with open faces to match, do hereby make, ordain, publish, and declare this to be our last Will and Testament.
