SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY It doesn't seem possible that ten years have passed since we said good-bye to the halls of good old La Moille Community High! But, here we are, meeting for our Tenth Annual Class Reunion at the La Moille Sky Coach Airport. We are going to fly to the Boardwalk in New Jersey City in the Highlights airship on which Marilyn Funfsinn is Stewardess. As she looks around the crowd, she sees Arlene Lucas, who is a nurse at the La Moille Angels of Mercy Hospital. Standing beside her is Mrs. Doug Schmidt, known as Shirley Becker in the good old days. Shirley lives on a farm with her husband and triplets. The former Evelyn Chelin, now Mrs. Bob Jackson is a secretary at the Citizens National Bank in Princeton. Lorna Bentley, now Mrs. Melvin Swanlund, drives up in her private taxi cab. Lorna is a millionaire again. She got her first million by driving a peanut wagon from coast to coast. Kathleen Keutzer is now famous as an author. She has just finished her third book called The Faber Episodes.” Rheta Haefner, now Mrs. Ray Schallhorn, drives up in her husband's new 63 Cadillac. They own a big dairy farm out by Cherry. Marlene Kolp and Norma Jean Schmidt just arrived from Hollywood where Marlene is Jerry Lewis' Secretary and Norma Jean is a famous movie star. Lester Stamberger just got back from his Cross the Land trucking trip this week in time to join us. Dixie Selders just arrived from Chicago where she is an Home Ec. Teacher. Mrs. Naida Wagner is With Dixie. Naida sings with her husband's band. Mrs. Ronald Summers, formerly Elaine Loeback, just flew in from California where her husband is president of the A. P. Store in Los Angles. Don Steele and David Schmitz just buzzed in. Don and David just finished their space ship called the Lions Take Off. Right behind the boys is James Becker, who is now a famous pilot—the boys are trying to get Jim to fly their new space ship but it doesn't look like they are makingany headway. We hear a great cheer in the crowd and of course it's none other than Joe Bickett, the famous All-American football player and Eleanor Bauer who is the star basketball player at the University of Illinois. Well we have all arrived and our plane is ready to take us on our Tenth Annual Renunion for another happy and exciting day. SENIOR CLASS WILL We, the Seniors of the La Moille Community High, class of '53 being of sound feet, sound intellectual, and brilliant minds, and open faces to match, do hereby make, ordain, publish, and declare this to be our last Will and Testament.
