DEDICATION We, the members of the Class of '48, dedicate this publication to our Great Democracyg and may we always cherish it. l EDITORIAL The purpose of this 1948 annual is to preserve the many happy memories of the past school year. our Senior Class has worked hard to bring the book to you, and we sincerely hope you get as much enjoyment out of reading it as we did in editing it. During our four years of high school life, we have found that the best way to insure success in any undertaking is to work together to reach the goal set. We have tried hard to live up to the tradition set by graduating classes before us and feel confident that those classes following us will do the same. SCHOLARSHIP When the annual went to press, it was impossible to determine the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Class of '4B. Luella Fouth was leading Lois Kopp by a narrow margin at the close of the first semester.p Both are excellent students, so congratulations to you Luella and Lois.
