These girls had meetings after school to make plans for high school. They learned about different clubs, activities, groups, and jobs. The Spanish Club meets every other Thurs- day. They have many learning activities such as how to make things and to appreciate the arts and Ways of Spanish culture. The ecology club which meets monthly, is a club that is solely devoted to the task of keeping our N country beautiful and school clean

The Journalism class is under the direction of Mr. Church. They publish the monthly school newspaper, El Patio , under the leadership of student editors. The journalism class does an outstanding job. S. T. O. P. stands for Students Trained On Prevention. They 1e'arn about vandalism, drug abuse, and bike safety. They teach students in the fourth and fifth grades about crime pre- vention. Officer Carl Wirtz, Barbara Bossier, and Jack Zimmerman are the project instructors.
