ehnezhag ight Artiuitiez Wednesday night activities were a new addi- tion to La Lu's nighttime festivities. Every Wednesday night as weary bodies straggled out of Study Hall, the S.A.C. was just being pre- pared. Then, all of the students would gather for the required fun such as mixers, quiz bowl, Win, Lose or Draw and lipsyncs -just to name a few. Most students agree Wednesday night activities were a nice break in the week's schedule. 1119 The Flame was La Lumiere's Inquirer. A lot ofFlamefans read the Flame to catch up on the gossip ofthe week. Some ofthe more intellectu- al personages read the enticing articles. This year The Flame brought some serious issues out in the open. The controversy became more intense every week, and by the end ofthe year people were dying for the next Flame issue. Sponsored by Mrs. Brockway, edited by Bridget Webb, and intenszfed by Dan Chon, Mike Ian- tria, Meribeth Rose and Jennifer Johnson The Flame left us all waiting for the next issue. 52 X-w ,J ililame ... ,,,

Yearbook Every Wednesday, when students were go- ing to their afternoon activities, one group descended into the basement of the Main House. Here, under the guidance of Mr. Welter and Mr. McAdams, we began compil- ing our memories of the 1987-1988 school year. We worked together to fulfill our goal of making an exceptional yearbook for La Lumiere's 25th Anniversary. With Jon Nico- sia and Chris Bolan taking photographs, Da- vid Langley and Juli Barkley writing the copy, David Kennedy as co-editor, Adam Adelmann and Peter Kotz working on Ads, and Kelly Bridgeman getting the job of doing everything we neglected, the Yearbook was created. qs , U 1 I 1 , . - .- if - a A . , .r is , A ' , Y FY pg X fx Q ' 4 X A ' H ' ,X 4. - - x . -ff s . 4 0 ,ny r 0 N, - .
