The history instructors helped US to obtain the knowledge of the past, recognize the present. The techniques of driving were taught to us by Mr. Nickell, our Driving Education instructor. Chemistry, biology and other sci- ences were the areas covered by our science teachers. Boys' and girls' physical education teachers kept the students at La Jolla fit and on top in competition.
