PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE We approach the close of another school year when familiar textbooks are laid aside and when friends must say ''Goodbye.'' This Viking annual of 1945 will be cherished as a welcome reminder and as a symbol of the ideals of loyalty and patriotism which have inspired our school activities. The members of the faculty have sought earnestly to develop the attitude among pupils that education is a continuous process: that young men and young women must strive to learn, and to-adapt themselves to the many problems that will arise throughout lite. W e know that the passengers and crew who have travelled on this year's cruise of the ''Good Ship Viking” will continue to render services as citizens in promoting the ideals of demo- cracy. Earl P. Andreen
