ll Silt!! . . JANUARY FEBRUARY MARCH APRIL MAY School opens - back to the grindstone. County Basketball Tournament - another defeat, but a very good game Semester Exams - buming the midnight oil. End of Semester - ready to start all over again. F.H.A. meeting - Girls, Girls. F.F.A. Meeting. Planning for the future. F.l'l.A. Valentine Party - Dear Valentine. F.F.A. Section Il Public Speaking Contest very interesting speeches. End of 6 weeks - get ready for the tests. Operetta - nice. Very good crowds. F.F.A. meeting - at it again. F.F.A. Section II officers Banquet - these are the leaders. District solo 8: ensemble contests. F.F.A. Parliamentary procedure contest - down to work. State Basketball Tournament. F.H.A. Rally at Barry - girls from everywhere. F.F.A. Section Il poultry 8. grain judging Contest - Oh those blue ribbons. End of six weeks - guess what? Sophomore Class party - an up and coming class. Ir. P1ay-- A very good performance. Good Fri. --short vacation. Avon Track meet - a victory for our side. F.H.A. Bake sale -- money coming in. G.A.A. playday at Plymouth --Am I tired? F.F.A. Meeting. Galva relays - more blue ribbons. lr. - Sr. Prom - thanks a lot for a swell evening, Irs. Lamoine Valley Track - We brought home all the honors. Victory. Grade School Operetta - a garden scene, bees and everything. Very colorful and entertaining. Senior Carnival - Confetti, balloons, all the trimmings for a success- ful event. Roman Banquet - following the Roman traditions to the fullest extent. District Track 85 Field Meet - still doing fine. I-ligh School Hancock County Track 84 Field Meet. Another victory 8s more blue ribbons. Athletic Banquet - in honor of our swell athletes and coaches. Semester Exams - the last of the toiling. School ends -so long for another year. Jr. Class trip - Starved Rock bound. Baccalaureate. Sophomore Trip - Seeing the sights of Iowa City. Eighth Grade Graduation - ready to reach for a higher goal. High School Picnic - a very delightful day for everyone. High School Graduation - The night everyone has been waiting for. Sorry to leave but rather glad to be going out into the world.
