FAVORITES Hiqhlanders! Born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada, I cour- ageously volunteered to serve in Europe during the Korean War. There, I spent two years in France with the United States Air Force. I was educated at UCLA, where I took my BA and MA degrees in political science and it was while attending UCLA that I met my wife, Sue, who is a very competent artist. We have two children, Kurt, 5, and Erika, 3. My major interest lies in travel. I also enjoy folk music and, of course, politics. In my two years of teaching at LhlhHS, I hove come to know many fine teachers and students. I hope that my students have enjoyed my teaching OS I have enjoyed them. MR.
