E ,.,..f..-. --, .....,,q-y-e-4--R..- -.. f- Tam-O-Shanter and Mr. Pray, always ready to support stu- dent functions. Q., ,,,. i i , 5 edicafiorz For the past four years, La Habra High School has stood as a symbol of progress cmd workman- ship to the surrounding community. Of course, this school could not have been built without the cooperation of many persons and agencies. Equally important to the progress made have been the staff, the faculty, and the board of trustees. Out of all those who have helped mold La Habra High into the creditable institution that it is today, we, the publications class, have chosen one who we believe stands as a symbol of its success. We have chosen a person who has been devoted to La Habra High and its students for the past four years, Because of his dedication to us, we have chosen to dedicate this, the 1957-58 HIELAN, to our principal, Mr. Pray, because of your loyalty, devotion, and achievements in behalf of La Habra High School. the students, and the faculty, we dedicate this, the 1957-58 HIELAN, to you. One aspect of Mr. Pray's devotion to La Habra is seen in his actions with the students. No student on the La Habra campus feels, at any time, that he is unwelcome in the principal's office. Mr. Pray is ready to give worthwhile advice to the student who asks for it. This feeling of warmth is also extended to the faculty at La Habra, and it is plainly evident that there is a strong bond of friendship between them and Mr. Pray. While relaxing from school, Mr. Pray enioys a wholesome family life with his wife and five children, often taking time to enjoy his favorite sport, skiing. 4 -.
