Lewis County Invitational Tournament November 12-17 The La Grange girls met and defeated Kahoka the first game Of the tournament by a score of 35-29. The second game we defeated La Belle 29-37. In the first place game the Eagle won over Canton girls, 34-30. Shelbina Tournament January 21-26 The Eagles won their first ganie against Shelbina girls, 53-35. The second game the Eagle defeated Atlanta girls, 35-33. ln the third game of the tournament the Eagles were defeated by Shelbyville girls, 49-35. Playing for a third place trophy was the La Grange girls and Higbee girls. The Eagles defeated I-ligbee 58-32. Palmyra Tournament January Z8-February 3 The Eagles opened the first game of the tournament with New London as their opponent, in which the Eagles were victorious by a score of 40-27. ' Lewis County Invitational Tournament November 12-17 La Grange defeated Canton 69-26 in the first game of the tourn- ament. They lost their second game to Lewistown the score was 43-62. La Grange was defeated by Kahoka in the third game of the tournament 57-62. Shelbina Tournament January 21-26 La Grange defeated La Plata 78-49 in the first game of the tournament. La Grange played McCooey in the second ga.1ne and won with a score of 59-55. The boys had to play three minutes overtime in the third game and lost to Shelbina 59-49. The boys were defeated by Holy Rosary in the fourth game. La Grange boys took home fourth place trophy. Palmyra Tournament January 28-February 2 La Grange boys lost their first game of the tournament to Philadelphia-Emerson 47-49. La Grange defeated Canton in the second game 52-30. La Grange won their third game playing La Belle the final score was 54-47. The boys played New London for conso- lation, winning with a score of 54-40.
