Kbx TRUSTEE Robert Mc Kinley ADMINISTRATION ADVISORY BOARD: Mark Enyeart, Ervm Garrxson George Silvers 14 y?:IIr': '- FAIIHHY PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE It has been said that the fitness of our youth is the strength of our nation. When we talk of fitness, we must remember that there are at least four ways a person must be fit. First, he must be physically fit. That is, he must keep his body in condition, so that he will be able to do any task he is called upon to do. Next, he must be emotionally fit. That is, he must be emotionally stable at all times, so that he will be able to make proper judgements. Next, he must be mentally fit. By being mentally fit he will be able to have the knowledge, under- standing, and insight in the formation of his judgements. Finally, he must have social fitness. That is, he must be able to fit into his society and get along with his fellow man. The greatest cause for the loss of jobs is lack of social fitness. Many people are able to do their work well, but they lose out because they are not able to get along with their fellow workers. Sincerely, Z . ? I P. A, Smith, Principal FACULTY ,- N NK V . A backwoods farm house along one of the main cross-country highways is the scene of this tale. The house has been inherited by Richard Karl, a representative of the advertising firm which is the sponsor of the play. Richard went to college with the members of the theatrical troupe and is in love with the leading lady, Carol Lewis. Consequently he is very anxious to help them get ahead . Mrs. Irene Yates, president of the firm, wants Richard to drive her and her daughter up to their ,mountain resort. Richard, in turn, in- suucts Carol and the rest of the troupe to go to his inheritance and wait. He will pretend that the car breaks down close to his place, which is on the road to her resort, and they will have to take shelter there for the night. Then Carol and her troupe will put on an act for Mrs. Yates' benefit. Meanwhile, two mountain characters, Zeke Skitter and Cinny Lou Bogger, go to this place looking for the joo'l of great price which they believe is hidden there. They have been wanting to get hitched and this is all they need. If they could find the jewel and sell it they could be happy the rest of their lives. Of course, two parties in the same house, unkown to each other, result is some mighty unusual happenings. Cinny Lou . Zeke Skitter Clint Roberts Jackie Burton Kitty Wood . George Allen Mrs. Yates .
