PRINCIPAUS M SSAGE Message to the Class of '56 You have now reached a very important plateau in your lives. Congratulations are in order. In your struggle to reach this plateau you have obtained an education. Your future success in life will depend upon how you add to, or use this education. An education is like treasures in heaven. It can not be lost, nor can thieves break in and take it from us. Yet, it is unlike treasures in heaven because it can rust and corrode. And this is what we must keep up a constant effort all through life to keep from happening. Because an education that becomes rusty and corroded is almost as useless as no education. So, in your travels through life, as you advance from one plateau to another, keep in mind that he who stops learning also stops living. Sincerely, P. A. Smith, Principal
