HOME- COMING KING AND QUEEN George Cox Carolyn Feldman ATTENDANTS IUNIORS Mike Stevens Evelyn Marquis SOPHOMORES Charles Rhynerson Sandy Williamson FRESHMEN Larry Clearwater Evelyn Hurt INDIAN ROYALTY Bob-Farris Linda Stephens Homecoming has become a traditional activity each football season. In the crisp air of Indian summer our tribes ready themselves for the trials to select our most outstanding braves and prettiest maidens to compete for Homecoming King and Queen. Each class elected candidates, then the student body voted on these candidates for the 1966 King and Queen. Our candidates marched onto the field to the resounding beat of our school band, there to hear the name of our winning candidates. Our Indian Chieftain, who was master of crowning ceremonies, was Bob Farris. Our Indian maiden, who assisted him, was Linda Stephens. Indian regalia was worn with pride by these two, as they stepped up to crown George Cox and Carolyn Feldman, King and Queen of Homecoming 1966. To make our evening more satisfactory, our Indian Braves won then football game with Olathe School for the Deaf. The Collectors , Louisburg's go-go band, provided music for our victory celebration here in the Val- ley of the Swans.
