Our varied subjects made us aware of new fields to explore. Band, typing, and journalism were some of the electives that were offered to us. We were included in more activities with our upperclassmen such as 8th and 9th grade dances, A Cappella, and various other clubs. We were no longer regarded as just 7th graders and this gave us the feeling of being more a part of La Cumbre. Our added responsibilities helped us grow up and become more mature as we mixed our school work with a year of activities. This unique year as the class of 1969 has passed but we will always cherish the memories of the year 's events. H 'Sly us- ,v . F f if ' fi, '1 ,shun . t
