'N e VICE PRINCIPALS: Two of the people we will remember from La Cumbre are Mrs. Jean l ' Anthony and Mr. Otis Powell, Girls' and Boys' Vice Principals. Besides helping us with various problems and responsibilities, they also devoted ' their time to aid the office staff and Mr. Dal Bello. when we needed help, they were always ready to give it to us. If we needed understanding, they understood. Sometimes we didn't see eye-to-eye with them, but most of the time we could see they were working to make this year a memorable one. At left are pictured Mrs. Anthony and Mr. Powell, holding one of their many conferences throughout the year. Tl-IEYAQQIQTED QYUDENTQAND FACULW. COUNSELORS: At one time or another almost everyone has gone to see the counselors. It might be about next year's course choices, a SCAT test percentage, a transfer, or a quesdon about college. They are there to answer such questions and to help if you have problems with school work or at home. They use your grades, your SCAT and STEP test percentages and teacher comments to place you in the class where you will do your best. They also help you decide whether you want to take a certain course or not. No matter what, they were always ready to give their assistance. , xy 12 X Miss Thora Hodge, ' 'Qs Counselor E 'si Mr. Harold Jones, J Counselor . g - J fb Mrs. Jean Silver, : ' ' ' Counselor 4 Mr. Don Skipworth, ' - Counselor rim K Yi Sq,-..-' lie At left is Mr. Skipworth telling about the problems of scheduling classes for year.
