ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS One of the greatest memories in the minds of the La Cumbrean members this year is the production of this yearbook. Now as we look back, we can realize the many people involved in its making and appreci- ate the teamwork and the cooperation of all. First, we express our sincere thanks to our principal, Mr. Paul G. Dal Bello, who was always ready to give us the help we needed. Our appreciation goes to the Faculty for their interest and assistance. We also are grateful to Taylor Publishing Company and to Mr. Viga Hall in particular. He continually showed a personal concem in helping us meet our deadline. Our dedicated advisors receive our deepest recognition and praise for their understanding, instructions, and overall guidance. To Mrs. Betsy Couch, Mr. Frank Brownie, Mr. Mal Parker, and Mr. Harry Sims, a sincere thank you. We are greatly indebted to Mr. George Guntermann and Mr. Dennis Staley for their fine work in photog raphy. m A I would personally like to give my thanks to special staff members who gave their time and best efforts to this book: Linda Zurbuchen, Carolyn Aiello, Shelly Gallagher, Hanan Yaqub, Brooks Frank, Steve Blair John Fuller, Marc Rose, Karin Lehmann, Bryan MacDonald, Joe Gonzalez and Eileen Burgess. Also, a special thanks to the art staff and especially to Patrick Angus, who is responsible for the beautiful art work on the division pages. It has taken hard work, A long hours, and a lot of determination by all of these people to put out this yearbook. Now we can finally see the result of our plans in these pages. We hope that our combined efforts have succeeded in capturing the Golden Memories of this year in your yearbook, the 1968 La Cumbrean. , Sincerely , Qfaf Irene Holt Editor-in-Chief
