Student Council This year the Student Council has been very active. In past years the interest in it has dwindled to almost nothing, but due to a quick organiza- tion the first of the year, this has not been the case this year. A meet- ing was held the first Monday in each month to take up the month' s busi- ness. The president of the Student Body presided at these meetings. We started out the year by ordering Student Council pins. A discussion of admission prices to the games was also taken up and decided upon. A fund was started and everyone was fined who threw paper on the floor or used profane language in the school building. An exchange assembly was arranged with Oak Harbor They came over here on November 15 and we gave our program there on December 6 Each class contributed either a skit or musical selection to the assembly During the year each class was held responsible for two assemblies The Student Council with the help of the entire student body also put on several pep assemblies throughout the year In this way we have created interest in the games and also in the class activities Candidates for the student body offices were nominated by the Student Council A committee was formed for the revision of the high school s constitution After its revision it was brought up and voted upon by the student body We want to thank Mrs Bonine for the help she has given us this past year The members of the Student Council this year were A S B President Lee Felton Keith Anderson A S B Vice President Darrell Bassford Doug Jackson A S B Secretary Treasurer Margie Dunlap Nadine McCoy Leona Nelson Serior Class Dave Gfeller Margie Dunlap Junior Class Doug Jackson Bill Handstad Sophomore Class Margaret Fauser Dorothy Peth Freshman Class Joan Harmon Anita Clark Girls Club Leona Nelson Darlene Bassford Latin Club Karla Ring Janet Clark Paper Staff Darlene Mesman Annual Staff Keith Anderson Mary Ann Peth Boys Club Don Nystrom Pep Club Darlene Bassford Elizabeth Steiner 'P . . . . . . . . . . . , . . . . . . .
