GRADE SCHOOL SPGRTS During the year grades 5-6-7-8 formed an athletic K group. Their purpose was to stimulate athletic . achievements in the grade school. The 'officers chosen wereg T President charles white F Vice President Pete Fehr Secretary Donna Lulow I Treasurer Norma Lulow l Sergeant at Arms Elmer Sheldon Dorothy Crayne, Edna Bloom, and Bob Rand were pep leaders Interscholastic sports were basketball and softbaD. The team brought home four vlctories and two lames in ba ketball and in baseball they won one and lost two b1TSt strlngs ln basketball were Pete Pehr Bud Cole, Ch rlee Whlte, Elmer Sheldon, and Gene Chicks Baseball lineup Elmer Sheldon Pete Fehr, Gene Gordon, Charles White, Bud Cole, Durand Coolbaunym Bob Welch Gene Chicks, and Ronald Courser Money collected by the club from ticket sales candy, popcorn, etc amounted to 356 GO Prom this fund were purchased baseball caps, hower towels repair and cleaning of suits and other athletic equipment Advlsors were Mrs Jenkins, Mr Roger , and Mrs Gabrielsen CHRISTMAS PROGRAM Tue annual Christmas program produced by the grade school and the high school music department was judged highly entertaining by a large audience f intere ted parents and friends Tue orchestra began the program with a group of Chrl tmas Carols followed by an operetta nChr18tmas With The Old Woman Who Livedln The Shoe under the direction of Mrs Jenkins, Mr Rogers led grades five to eight in a series of scenes protraying Chri tmas in many lands The High school music department provided numbers between the various seen 455 5 asa?
