happy dale m I m Hello Readers ! I ' m going to tell you a story. It is a nice little tale about an entire Omega class who went berzerk. I could ' nt help it. You see, I set out to produce a quality year book. A book of style and certain flair. I thought a clown motif with an em- phasis on rainbows and balloons would be just the theme to execute a classic. I mean I was shooting for the Year Book Hall of Fame in Fresno. But my vision of greatness was destroyed after the premier showing of the nuclear extravaganza, THE DAY AFTER , The class just decided it was no use any more.. They threw my brilliant idea of clown happiness and friend ship right in the slop. I lost control as I watched the loonatics scream frantically, NO THEME NO THEME . ( much like Herve Valchez of Fantasy Island fame) Once my ideas had been trashed my life became worthless. The agony of no theme is too too much for me to bear. I have gone into a lifetime vigil in a luxury trash can in the Quad. Have you ever realized the comfort of a 20,000 dollar trash can. Boy, did they spend that money WISELY. And the food! Every day Chicken Delite, Burritos and yes, THOSE nachos with the orange sauce. So PLEASE, PLEASE, if I ' ve made myself clear, DON ' T turn the page. You ' ll blow up. I swear. O.K.???? There ' s not a single rainbow in it. I hate THE DAY AFTER a lot. Sincerely,
”
