FUTURE TEACHERS ASSOCIATION Future Teachers Association is a club and class combined providing students with actual classroom experience. Under the direction of Fred Hansen, FT. A. students work with children of elementary schools and Oak Grove Handicapp School. In teaching and aid positions, F.T.A. students offer both academic and behavioral guidence in exchange for a sense of responsibility and valuable experiences as a student instructor. FIRST ANNUAL HANSEN SEMINAR A convention for future teachers of Annerica in Fredricksville Oaklahoma. Special guest speakers and certified Foreign Substitute lectures will be offered fa five days and nights of teachter and school oriented events. CALENDAR OF EVENTS: Day one; F.T.A. orientation luncheon. Day tv o; Special guest speaker — Barbara Pieper (lunch and dinner tickets available) Day three; Brunch with certified substitute — Mrs. Saul. Afternoon Social slide presentation of Education and the Hitler Youth . Day four; Free day, chose between fifty shows, hour long seminars, and guest speakers. Day five; Teacher ' s Social Tea, Mingle with well known professors, foreign substitutes, administrators, and other F.T.A. students. Fly with the few, the proud, . . . Option Join the people 2vho have joined Option. Option Option is a great program for all dissatisfied students. In option, you will no longer experience long and boring 100 minute periods, but instead. Option classes, led by Ted Richardson and Dennis Sanchez, are short and filled with excitement and adventure. Also, not only are required classes offered, but many unusual courses as well. One can take classes in rock fighting, garding, plant recognition, music appreciation as well as flight elevation. The excite- ment, however, doesn ' t end in class, because when not in class option students can be found hiking or taking bts. If you are an adventerous high school student, you should strongly consider Option as an option.
