USA 83-84 Y Hi! My name is Klaara and I ' m an exchange student from Finland. I came to La Canada two weeks before Christmas vacation and I have had a good time here. Its not always easy to be an exchange student though, i faced some problems and sometimes homesickness, but by talking to my host parents and friends, I was able to overcome these. Staying in the community of La Canada was a terrific experience, and I especially enjoyed staying with my host family, whom I like a lot. Travelling was something I did quite a bit, and i really like sunny California. I think an exchange student year is a great experience, that teaches you a lot about life. The natives are a fun loving breed unto their own hopefully not to be found anywhere but here in town of the one and only Valley Sun and Alcorn Beverage.
