You have mounted the first rung on the ladder of accomplishment. Our world is teeming with opportunities. I hope that you have learned that for every privilege, there is a Corresponding responsibility. May you always remember the opportunities you have had, and earnestly seek to make your finest contribution for the benefit of all. vice pnmclpal With graduation comes commence- ment. The realization of one's goal merely illumines another on the horizon of life. May the future be a reflection of the success you have achieved at La- Salle High School. Even though much of the knowledge acquired here may be forgotten, may the wisdom, garnered so laboriously, linger on. My sincere wishes for your success and happiness. Helen A. Foun- tain. ami cnazy Girl Crazy, a play based on the original musical comedy by Guy Bolton and John McGowan was presented by the Senior Class of LaSalle Senior High School on December ll and I2 at 8:00 p.m. Miss Yolanda Yankoski directed and Mr. Harold Jamieson and Mrs. Clara Hill assisted. The play has a fascinating plot with witty dialogue and bath tender and full-filled scenes. Tom Holmes plays New Yorker Danny Churchill who is exiled to the family ranch in Arizona because his family thinks this will cure him of his yen for girls. How wrong they are! Danny not only arrives at the ranch in a taxi, chauffeured by Louie, lGeorge Wilsonl, but during his exploration of the ranch, meets Molly, lAlice Bashl, a vivacious Western girl quite different than the type he is accustomed to back in New York. Louie in turn is constantly pursued by Rosie Rowena Rumplymeyer, lBetsy Churchl a cute but dumb little filly whose speech is definitely East Side. These romances are periodically interrupted by playboys, Lank Sanders, Uohn Howellsl, a bandit whose bark is worse than his bite, and an Indian who has a college education. Thanks to the aid of Miss Anne Kleman, set designer, Mr. Clarence Hageman, stage manager, Mr. Robert LoDuca, publicity and all the student body and public who received the presentation with great enthusiasm, the Senior Class Play of 1959 was truly a great achievement and success. fl Q 1' f Yi' v x Q I ri 5 I gg A Si H 5 X 4 4 ' I fl ll ?
