CISS POP SCL, fCfmf1mwd! pulblic was invited to witness the discussion and this beinfr s0 I immediately took advantage of my opportunity As I approached the stately doors which served as an entrance into the prodigious Conference Room I yvas astounded to see a secretary to the head of the German 1 oy ermnent Ruthe Olsen capably handlm, all the official business while her able assistant Wlarion Taylor yvas punctllious in her ffreetmgs to all the head men from governments in Izurope Addresses were elaborately expressed bv speakers Richard Tubbe Billy Jamieson :Gerald Lasher and Franus Boudreau After recess I ventured out of the mammoth buildlnw into the heart of Berlin whose beauty had definitely materialized morally and otherwise since the reconstruction period after XVorld yy ar II I passed away the tnne I had left 1n this city bv lackadaisically promenadmg around the city s park I caught my plane out of Berlin at 9 22 that evening and had beffun my extended trip to leheian I arrived at my destination about ll 75 I NI VIy taxi took me to my hotel Vhazumlba la and my admittance to the hotel was made easier by help of two porters Bill erkm and Norm Brown I unpacked immediately and arranged all my necessary equipment for the trip around the city the following morning Nly yaunt befan at 8 00 A M exattly I had been advised by the clerk of the hotel to employ a native glllile before I retired that evening so I did just that VN hen I yvalked out of the hotel my guide was waiting for me and to my surprise yvho should the guide be but Adolf Llrlck who was of the intense heat Our first visit was paid to the farmlands of 'Ieheran under the authorwation of ames Stark graduate of Cornell University Ifrom terraced farmland we droye bank to town to the more festlye and ndeed more colorful part of this city Ihrough all the modernization of this ancient locality it had maintained its weirdness and excitmfr atmosphere I left my guide to tour this part of town alone A I looked up I saw in front of me a large beautltul white castle and as I drew closer to the abode I saw on the steel doors the name Sultan James Fadel He saw me when I approached and opened the door and received me with a hearty welcome Dinner was served at ten and as I was about to replemsh my thlrst I heard music and tmklmg of 'bracelets and dancing I perceived fxfteen of the most beautiful dancing girl-.
