KF ' XKSAXX FOREWORD VV e credit the American Indian with blazing the trail for later development in this section of our country. His customs, methods and civilization have long since made way for a finer, more advanced civili- zation. The progress made has taught us the value of crude and difficult beginnings. Pioneers are necessary in every worthy achievement. With this thought in mind, we the students of the La Salle High School, like the Indians of yore, have donned the role of pioneer trail blazers in attempting, for the first time, to issue a school yearbook.
