Julie Niezgodski, vice president, Karen Reason, secretary, Nancy Uldin, treasurer, Miss Bobin, sponsor, and Louise Hildebrand, president The Booster Club again succeeded in unifying the student body in sup- port of LaSalle ' s athletic teams. The Booster Club worked to bolster school spirit after the disappointment of for- feiting important basketball victories. Their efforts were crowned with the school ' s first sectional championship. Club members spent countless hours on the many projects so vital to the success of sporting events. Members painted and hung posters spurring the many teams to victories in their respective sports. They readied the teams and the student body for games by presenting pep as- semblies complete with Santa and his reindeer, devils, witches, and giant cakes. The Booster Club also worked hard to raise money for their many projects by selling pennants. During the sec- tional, the club solicited money for radio announcements backing the team. With the help of their sponsor, Miss Bobin, the Booster Club made the year one that LaSalle students will long remember. 51
