Tri -H i - Y H as Many Projects Tri-Hi-Y is an organization that gives high school girls a chance to participate in many projects. They also have lots of fun. Included this year in their activities were a three-day trip to Baton Rouge for Youth and Government, marching in the March of Dimes, raffling off a heart for Valentine's Day, and giving a party for underprivi- leged children at Christmas. The sponsors are Mrs. Christine Man- dubourg and Mrs. Betty Easton. Coin, Stamp New at LG The Coin and Stamp Club is a new addition to LaGrange's organizations. The club's pur- pose is to bring together students who would like to exchange coins and stamps to improve their col- lections and to exchange inform- ation. The club heard a guest speaker who is a longtime col- lector, and they took a trip to a local coin and stamp shop. Health Careers N ewhf Formed This Year at LG The Health Careers club was newly formed this year at LaGrange Senior. The club was organized to offer students who are considering a career in health services an opportunity to inquire and determine the preparation needed for each field. During the year the club members visited area hospitals and had buest speakers. The club also had several money raising projects to finance a spring activity.
