Key Club Has Very Full Year in ' The Key Club is a special organization for boys at LaGrange. Before school began in September the Key Club mowed lawns, threw a back-to-school dance. and painted the teachers' names in the parking lot. As football season began, it kicked off spirit with presenting skits and having their annual cheer- leader initiation. Topping off initiation was the Moon Contest. Then, Key Club played an important part in the first annual District Convention held in Lake Charles at the Civic Cen- ter, and finally, to wrap up the successful year, a banquet was held and Mr. Allen was especially hon- ored. DE CA Week Was Clubs Bi g Event DECA is a club for those students interested in Distributive Education. The club has many projects throughout the year. Some of these activities are candy sales, Bunkie leadership confer- ence, car washes, Christmas caroling in hospitals, employer appreciation banquet, Louisiana Leadership Confer- ence, and Employer Day.
