Octagon Club Plans Monument A rebuilt Octagon Club began a very successful year long before the school doors opened last August. Delegates representing the LaGrange chapter attended the state convention where a LaGrane member, Ricky Dupuis, was elected State President. Key projects this year were boosting the spirit by selling football bumper stickers and signs. For the largest project, members voted to erect a monument on the front lawn with a cost of nearly S1,000. This was done under the leadership of Mrs. Bruno and Mrs. Hoffman. Service projects included gifts to a nursing home and attending the American Model Association Convention in August. OFFICERS - First row: Ricky Dupuis Ckneelingj. president. Key Club Has Very Full Year in ' The Key Club is a special organization for boys at LaGrange. Before school began in September the Key Club mowed lawns, threw a back-to-school dance. and painted the teachers' names in the parking lot. As football season began, it kicked off spirit with presenting skits and having their annual cheer- leader initiation. Topping off initiation was the Moon Contest.
