enaauieiqialiluied CLASSES On all frontiers education is common-sense e ui ment. Intellectual enli htenment will q S be the ma'or defense a ainst our real enemies-i norance, disease, overt , crime. And I P science demands the know-how era. We must be ready. Here at L. H. S. we feel that we are stepping out to meet the new era by adding, for the first time, a twelfth grade. Although small in this period of transition, it is the beginning of advanced learning. This grade will meet the need for diversified subjects, maturity of thought, and clearer judgment in selection of a life work. It seems worthy and needed equipment for the present time. In this, our chapter on classes, we bid good-bye to the mid-term seniors, for graduation in January, started fourteen years ago, will end with the 1946 class. So farewell and good luck, Winter Wonders! Sophisticated sophomores of this year must enjoy their privileges, for next year the newcomers will be termed fresh men. At L. H. S., as at all schools, classes must hold the spotlight. It is our purpose to have a school as good as the best. To this aim we must stand solidly on classes. 4: fi ,J-T Y 5 f- , X-4 X I9 xv- - vxxy lfvf. F Q we-B3 'f f , Xfv .gl y '--W, Q. lfhm N' fs- 7 'Srl X 10
