I SERVE RED CROSS COUNCIL In this time of world tumult, the Red Cross Council is happy to do its part in helping to relieve unhappiness and suffering. The purpose of the Red Cross Council is to serve and to de- velop world friendship. It is composed of one representative from each home room and from every club. This year the school, through the council, is sending to the Veterans' Home in Atlanta, packages at Christmas, flowers on VaIcntine's Day, and candy at Easter. It also sponsors free lunches to needy students. Sponsor FORUM The purpose of the Forum is to develop logical reasoning and effective speaking. To qualify for membership, students must maintain a passing grade in all subjects and must merit the approval of the faculty. The Forum meets every two weeks. This year the club is studying parliamentary law and debating. In the spring it sponsors debates by the Literary Society.
