This being true, We Won honors in the scholastic field. Script 'iL's were presented to Rebecca Smith, Sybil Sledge, James Bennett, and Annie Davis. Our leading maestri were Sybil Sledge, President, Lynda Bennett, Vice-President, Ralph Norris, Secretary and Treasurer. Gaining confidence in ourselves, We gradually began to take part in outside ac- tivities. Members took part in clubs and organizations. Several of them brought glory to the class by Winning high honors in the swimming meet. Solomon Joseph trilled forth his eloquence of speech and won the Martin Cup. Led harmoniously through by james Bennett, President, Jack Wilson, Vice-President, Betsy Davis, Secretary and Treasurer, We moved on to a more advanced position-the Junior year.
