Her steps on the Road to Success started off when she was born on May 2, 1925, in LaGrange, Georgia, to James Edward Tray- lor and Gladys Marchman (both de- ceased). In the year of 1943 after she had graduated from Greensboro High School in 1942 she became a freshman at La- Grange College. Some of her many accomplishments while at L.C. were: Delta Phi Delta, serving as its presi- dent when she was a senior. In 1958 Mrs. Dyar became assistant manager of Georgia Press Association, she served in t his position until February, 1972, when she was named Acting Manager. She was named executive manager and corporate secretary in November, 1972, a posi- tion she held until she accepted the L.C. position in 1978.
