Fine Arts Division Talent does not go unrecognized at LaGrange College, whether it be musical or dramatic, a cultivated skill or a natural ability. Under the classification of Fine Arts comes the group of people who excel in one or more of the arts and who are striving to continue to widen their scope of ability by participat- ing in the Fine Arts program. Humanities Division All departments within the Humanities Division attach primary importance to the problems of knowledge and judge- ment. The studies are designed to cultivate intellectual inter- est and to give significance to the branches of learning concerned with the human thought and relations, literature, and philosophy. Students who wish to work toward a major in the division may attain it in English, French, Spanish, or Religion and Philosophy.
