Dedication It has been said that new approaches and procedures are constantly being tried. 'This we have attempted to do. Yet there are some eternal veritiesg so, in this, our first VIKING yearbook, we have endeavored to show the 'Spirit of the Norsemen' by the use of ideas as new as today. We sought to retain the enthusiasm of those bold, adv venturous men who set sail on uncharted seas. This experimental approach has led to broader interpretations of citizenship, attitudes, and ideals. As we began this adventure, each participant learned to pool resources - thus in our quest we settled on the course we would follow. This pictorial history presents our school family, with its aims, objectives and goals. Our efforts show that teachers and administrators are interested in individuals as well as the school and the total community. The welfare of the student body is the first Viking tenet. Others are: love of country, respect for others, and a constant search for knowledge. To these ideals of the true Viking Spirit we dedicate this Annual.
