We Dedicate This Year’s Deck tc.. • Elizabeth J. Deschaine In appreciation for 25 years to the teaching profession. Mrs. Deschaine taught business educa- tion in the Pequaming High School from 1942-43 and substitute taught in various Baraga County Schools for 13 years before accepting a position with L’Anse Schools. She taught first and second grades in the Old Red School from 1955-59. Since 1959 Mrs. Deschaine has taught Accounting, General Business, Office Machines, Short- hand I and II, and most recently, Typing I and II in the high school. While in the high school building she was also Head of the Business Department. She has been profes- sionally active, as well as family and com- munity minded. We thank you for having been a guiding hand to many students going into the business world — and wish you the best in your new world! Presenting the Seniors cf 1982... Scott Tarvainen Valedictorian Debate 3; Forensics 3; Youth in Gov't; 4-H Teen Club; Boys' State Delegate; Counselor at Camp Nesbitt; Senior Class Play. Scott plans to attend Michigan Tech University and major in computer science. Rebecca Elmblad Salutatorian Chcerleading 4; Basketball 2; Gymnastics I; Band 5; Counselor at Camp Nesbitt; Senior Class Play. Becky plans to attend Michigan Tech University where she will be study- ing prc-paramedical sciences.
